As an experienced executive-level community nurse (QN) with 19 years of nursing experience, including 10 years in tissue viability, I am excited about the possibility of serving as a trustee and utilising my governance knowledge and experience. I have worked in various settings across the NHS and academia. My passion for quality improvement is demonstrated through my work in patient safety, pathway design, and service redesign aimed at improving patient outcomes.

I have served as a board member for Nursing Standard and currently serve as a board member for the Journal of General Practice Nursing. I am an external examiner for Robert Gordon University and a visiting lecturer at the University of Surrey. I recently passed my PhD and have published research and practice-related papers, presenting nationally and internationally. I am a reviewer of NIHR research grants and a peer reviewer for Wound Care Today, with experience in judging local and national awards.
