**Healthcare Professionals – please share with your patient or carers and forward to the lead for patient and public voice involvement within your organisation**
The NWCSP (National Wound Care Strategy Programme) are looking to recruit patients and carers living in England who have experience of surgical wounds, pressure ulcers or lower limb ulcers* to help ensure that the work of the programme fully considers their needs.
The NWCSP is committed to ensuring that public and patient voices are at the centre of shaping and improving healthcare services. The current work covers a range of topics including patient and carer information, service design, wound care education, wound care data and information, and digital photography of wounds. This work needs to be informed by insight from patients and carers.
Due to COVID-19, our work is currently taking place online. Although this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, it is anticipated that this situation will continue for some time and online involvement will continue to be possible, post COVID. When and if, travel becomes an option, the NWCSP would reimburse reasonable out of pocket expenses in line with the NHW England PPV Partners Expenses and Involvement Payments Policy.
