Our first ever winner of the TVS EWMA scholarship, Sarah Charlton from Essex, will be attending the conference, which opens today in Madrid, Spain. In her application she wrote:
“I remember my first time at EWMA when I was doing my Masters degree. I was relatively new to Tissue Viability and anxious about the weight of responsibility I felt in this role. I have now gained experience but have not forgotten the responsibility I have to my patients and Community nurses to help and support them to develop their wound management skills. A conference such as EWMA enables me to learn new skills and knowledge for myself which in turn I can share with my colleagues.”
If you are attending the conference, come along and say hello to Trustees on the TVS stand number 10F13, which is near the e-poster area, a very interesting development in abstract presentation.
