GLOBIAD: International Validation Study

In 2016, the University Centre for Nursing and Midwifery (Ghent University, Belgium) developed the Ghent Global IAD Categorisation Tool (GLOBIAD). The tool categorizes lesions caused by incontinence (IAD) in four categories. This year we aim to validate GLOBIAD by examining the degree of agreement between health professionals /caregivers by categorizing photographs of IAD using two survey process. Over 20 countries are involved in this process.

Because of your role as a health professional, you are invited to the first phase of the international validation of the GLOBIAD by participating in this survey. You will then be invited for the second phase of this project, which will commence one week after completing this survey.
