Nursing in Practice Training Days

Nursing in Practice Training days are designed for nurses of all levels of experience to sharpen their skills in specific clinical areas, such a wound care, across the UK this year. They are offering you the chance to join in on an intensive training day, to help you feel more comfortable in recognising the different types of wounds that you may encounter in your day-to-day role.

Supported by the Tissue Viability Society, these training days are designed to help you build your confidence and basic clinical knowledge, and will help you to enhance your knowledge of both acute and chronic wounds.

Your key learning objectives for the day include:

  • Understanding how to assess, describe and monitor wounds
  • Review the different dressing and treatment options available within current best evidence and practice
  • Recognise the appropriate referral pathway of patients

Each training day costs just £99 plus VAT and will provide you with confidence to practice safely following national guidelines and to refer patients appropriately. You will also receive all training material that you will need for your continuing professional development portfolio, in line with expectations set by the NMC.
