The European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (EPUAP) has brought our attention to the opportunity to participate in the The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) Wound Infection Control Initiative.
TVS members are asked to participate in AAWC’s content validation study to assess the clinical relevance of the Wound Infection Control Initiative (WICI). AAWC’s aim is to create evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for wound infection.
They would like your help to validate these guidelines. As you read each WICI Guideline recommendation, you will be asked to rate its clinical relevance to best evidence-based wound infection clinical practice based on your knowledge. By participating, your valuable input will help shape wound infection control for years to come!
You can access the survey on the webpage: www.aawconline.org/WICIsurvey
Please download and save the survey to your computer, saving your work as you complete it and, when finished, send your completed survey to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The survey deadline has been extended to February 21, 2014.
AAWC WICI Guideline Task Force would like to thank you in advance for your time.
