Lauren qualified as a nurse in 2010 and completed nurse training through the military. She went on to serve as a nurse for the British Armed Forces for 8 years and has experience in a wide range of areas of nursing from those years. After leaving the military, Lauren moved into clinical practice within prisons and police custody. She then moved into the Tissue Viability team at UHNM where she further developed her passion for wound care.

Lauren has worked in industry for 3 years where she has continued to empower nurses in providing high standards of wound care within their own areas of clinical practice.
