Heather is the Lead TVN for Greater Glasgow and Clyde (the biggest health board in Europe) and has been a TVN for 16 years, prior to that she has worked in numerous roles including cancer nurse specialist and nurse manager.

Heather still has a clinical role and is often heard saying ‘she has the best job in the NHS’ because she works with an incredible team and she enjoys the challenges, the constant learning, the varied working day and the real opportunity to deliver person centred care.

Out with work Heather enjoys being outdoors with her husband, daughter and two Dachshunds. Her main role out of work is being groom and truck driver when her daughter is competing in horse riding competitions.  Heather is also busy with the NHSGGC choir.
