Kate’s story

I applied to be a trustee of the Society as a way to keep myself up to date.

Meet Kate who has learnt, and is still learning, so much from being a Trustee of the Society of Tissue Viability

My journey in the Society of Tissue Viability

I applied to be a trustee of the Society as a way to keep myself up to date. I went straight in as a Trustee which was rather daunting but I have learnt, and am still learning, so much from my fabulous peers. I’ve never looked back!

How a member of the Society can get involved

Things have changed since I stepped into the role of Trustee and now there are so many ways to get involved without jumping in to the commitment that is a Trustee role.

If you’re hesitant, get involved with the Active Associates. It’s a great way to see what the Society does behind the scenes then if you want to be more involved you can step up 😊

Any involvement with the running of the Society is a fabulous way of keeping yourself up to date, networking, and helping with your own professional development as well as helping support the development of others.
