It was interesting to see what other countries are doing in relation to pressure ulcer prevention, particularly around digitalisation of services.

The conference also gave me the opportunity to reflect on what we are doing well in our Trust.

Of particular interest to me were the presentations about the management of contractures in pressure ulcer prevention and management, addressing skin bias in pressure ulcer prevention, and the Model Hospital data. I will cascade this information, particularly in relation to the Model Hospital, to the Northern Region Tissue Viability Forum.
