Chris has worked within the Rehab and Elderly Medicine directorate at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHSFT for 19 years. This has provided him with invaluable experience in working within care of the older persons.

He has worked on multiple care of the older person’s wards as a registered nurse, as an Elder life specialist practitioner for the Delirium and Dementia Outreach Team (DDOT), and spent 3 years as a modern matron for Rehab and Elderly medicine and general medicine directorates.

Recently undertaking a MBA in leadership, Chris currently works as a Nurse Consultant for Older Persons, specialising in delirium and dementia. He hopes to share his knowledge and expertise widely to ensure we deliver the best possible care to our older population.
