Dawn has dedicated nearly 30 years to healthcare, combining her expertise as a published author and business consultant with a deep commitment to human factors and quality improvement. After serving 14 years as CEO of a national charity, she stepped down to explore new opportunities where she could continue making a difference.

She currently serves as a Trustee of the Harrogate Homeless Project and previously contributed as a lay board member of the British Association of Day Surgery. Most recently, she has supported a patient safety initiative focused on improving airway management.

At the heart of Dawn’s work is her belief that kindness is infectious. She sees kindness as a catalyst for positive change and growth—an essential principle for both professional practice and everyday life. Her philosophy is simple but powerful: be kind.
