Dr Dattani has over 12 years of experience in general practice, with additional expertise in dermatology, minor surgery, and medical education. He is a principal GP partner at a practice in East London and delivers community-based services with a focus on dermatology and minor surgical procedures.

He holds a Clinical Lecturer position on the MBBS programme at Queen Mary University of London, where he co-leads the Year 4 Community-Based Medical Education (CBME) module. In addition, he serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire for the MSc in Skin Lesion Management.

Jinesh maintains an active interest in research and contributed to the British Society for Skin Care in Immunocompromised Individuals (BSSCII) conference in 2022, annual GP conference 2025 and SAPC 2025. He also sits on the advisory board for L’Oréal (CeraVe) and runs a private dermatology clinic in Barking.
