Jonathan Guy
Jonathan is a qualified teacher, PGCE, BA Hons in Anthropology, and has previously worked as a senior care worker for adults with learning disabilities and autism.
With Jonathan’s time spent as a senior care worker, a team leader for an additional resource provision, and a classroom teacher he is approaching his eighth year of working with people with additional needs.
Jonathan’s focus in this time has been on developing his understanding of autism and helping to provide colleagues and families with the strategies needed to provide beneficial care.
His strongest belief in this is that independence and autonomy should be at the forefront of our considerations, to allow people with learning disabilities to contribute to the issues that are important and impactful to them
