Liz trained at Sheffield Children’s Hospital in 1990, and returned to working there in 2007 at the Paediatric Burns Unit. She has been the Clinical Nurse Specialist since 2019.

Liz has been teaching burns care since 2010 as a Burns Care Nurse Advisor for the Northern Burn Care Network and teaches in a variety of primary and emergency care settings
