Nicola qualified 13 years ago as a learning disability nurse and social worker and supporting people with learning disabilities remains her passion!

Nicola’s career has taken her from working within a statutory social care teams to supporting vulnerable adults to in various roles within a specialist learning disability health service providing specialist healthcare to enable adults with learning disabilities to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives. Within Nicola’s current role, as a learning disability matron she works within Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) community specialist learning disability service promoting standards of clinical care, patient safety and experience.
