Roo Byrom
Roo Byrom MSc, PGDip Advanced Clinical Practice is a Heart Failure Nurse specialist at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust. She completed her NIHR Masters in clinical research Methodologies in 2016, her research focussed on the impact of socioeconomic status on length of hospital stay for acute heart failure admissions. She worked in Heart Failure research for 10 years with the University of Leeds; her publications are related to the use of complex devices and medication in Heart failure.
She has been a research lead and Principal Investigator in several high-profile heart failure studies over the last decade. Recently she has moved back into clinical practice and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Clinical Practice.
