Sarah’s role covers paediatric patients throughout the city of Sheffield, including community patients, hospital inpatients and inpatient CAMHS.

Her passion for wounds started as a student nurse during a placement at the local Paediatric Burns Service. After starting her career with general paediatric ward experience, she returned to Burns as a qualified nurse. She noticed a lack of tissue viability education and support for staff at the Trust and built the case for a Paediatric Tissue Viability Service.
