Register to learn about a new generation Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment Instrument, PURPOSE-T

About the NWCSP

The National Wound Care Strategy programme (NWCSP) seeks to improve care for people with wounds. The next webinar in the NWCSP Evidence for Wound Care series is the opportunity for you to discover more about a new generation Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment Instrument: PURPOSE-T

About the webinar

Risk assessment remains a key component of pressure ulcer (PU) prevention and a central preventative feature of national and international guidance. Drawing on the risk assessment work stream of the NIHR PURPOSE Programme, this webinar will consider how epidemiological and biomechanical evidence was identified and appraised to facilitate consideration of the most important risk factors in clinical practice. It will go on to describe how this evidence was applied to develop a new generation Risk Assessment Instrument, PURPOSE-T for use in clinical practice.
