This year’s Lymphoedema Awareness Week webinars are packed with educational content for the general public and healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the health sector, including non-lymphoedema specialist (HCPs) who impact on the care of people with, or at risk of, lymphoedema. Three sessions will target in particular, HCPS involved in the care of people with cancer, in oncology and general primary and secondary settings and people affected by cancer.
The webinars will cover:
- Understanding the importance of your lymphatic system
- Lymphoedema – when something goes wrong with its drainage system
- Keeping your lymphatic system healthy and what to do if there is a problem
- Risk and management of lymphoedema after cancer treatment
- Getting the best results from compression therapy
