The Wound Care and Management Conference and Exhibition 2023

Hear from leading practitioners from across the wound care profession to share best practices and excellence in wound care prevention and management

Background

The need for multi-professional collaboration and skills has been identified, and the National Wound Care Core Capabilities Framework for England sets out to benchmark high-quality provision across all health and care settings involved in the wound care and recovery process so that patients receive congruent and consistent care regardless of local or clinical setting. This framework outlines the competencies, knowledge, and behaviours required to perform high-quality, person-centred wound care across all levels of the health and social care workforce, enhancing healing times and patient outcomes as well as focusing resources efficiently.

Learning Outcomes

  • Discover top new innovations in preventing surgical site infection for wound closure after a surgical procedure.
