Reducing the risk of surgical wound complications: Best practice approaches in surgical wound care study day
Our free full day educational sessions promote the best practices in skin health and wound healing

Overview
Around 10 million surgical wounds are created each year and a fifth of these will fail to heal within 12 months leading to patient suffering and NHS cost (NWCSP, 2024). This is commonly associated with the development of a surgical wound complication.
This study day will explore why surgical wound complications occur across a range of specialities, and will offer evidence-based solutions for preventing or reducing risk.
