Optimising wound healing study day
Our free full day educational sessions promote the best practices in skin health and wound healing

Overview
Wound healing is a complex process that can be influenced by various factors, including the type of wound, individual health conditions, and the quality of the care provided. Whilst most wounds heal without complications, an estimated 30% of all wounds remain unhealed at 12 months (Guest et al, 2020).
This study day provides a holistic overview that aims to encourage clinicians to consider the physical, psychological and scientific influences on wound healing as well as offering some practical solutions to patient care.
Who’s the Optimising wound healing study day suitable for?
This study day is aimed at any clinician involved in the prevention and management of wounds or those with a particular interest in the topic through roles in education or research. The sessions delivered are a step up from a basic wound care level and will help add some depth to the knowledge and skills of those routinely working in this area of practice.
Where and when is the study day taking place?
